Candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience in the previous six years to be eligible for this stream.

Physicians Stream

Physicians are also in great demand in Nova Scotia, which has two streams devoted to assisting physicians in working in Canada. The Physicians stream is committed to assisting public health authorities (Nova Scotia Health Authority – NSHA) and the Izaak Walton Killam Health Centre (IWK) in meeting the present physician shortage.
